HOW I SIMPLIFIED MY SHELVES
Our large shelving unit in our living room was starting
to get a little cluttered, so over the weekend I took everything off and decided to simplify.I dusted everything and choose only my favorite items to return to the shelves. I wanted a simple neutral palette and shopped the house to pull it all together.
The question I get asked most often about our home is where I found our shelves. I absolutely love them, they have an industrial frame and reclaimed wood shelves, it’s such a solid and sturdy piece. The best part is they are 50% off right now on Overstock. I linked to them and as many other sources as I could track down at the end of the post.
UPDATE: My Shelves are currently out of stock. I’ve linked below some similar options.
I also have a new post all about styling these shelves, and updated sources.

I thought it’d be fun to add firefly lights through out. I love the glow they give off and they will carry us into and through the holidays.
Here they are all a glow as the sun begins to set.
I’m so glad I paired down and simplified the shelves, the best part I was able to use everything I already owned Love it when that happens!
I linked to as many items as I could find and listed all the source. Most items that I couldn’t find links online for are currently in the store.
