BEAUTIFUL SPRING TABLES TOUR
I’m thrilled to be sharing our Spring table decor with you. My talented friend Tammy of Pink Peppermint Designs rounded up a group of 25 creative bloggers, and we are each sharing our Spring table ideas this week. Four ladies shared yesterday, and I get to kick off today along with 4 other ladies, and the rest of the week, each day 5 more bloggers share their Spring ideas. Don’t worry, I’ll link directly to everyone who is sharing at the end of this post!
CREATING A BUDGET FRIENDLY SPRING TABLE
I thought I’d share my thought process and walk you through how to put together a budget friendly seasonal/holiday table. This is the process I used to pull together our table.
Take inventory of what you already own.
I shop the house and see what I already own that may work for the tablescape. For this table I pulled the striped napkins, white table runner, candle votives, gold chargers, and white dinner plates. I looked at my stash of Easter decor and thought I’d add in some neutral colored eggs.
Now head out to find some key seasonal pieces.
I found the pretty peach place mats at World Market, and that was my jumping off point. The color is so springy and fresh! I then headed over to Michaels and was drawn to the grass mats, wooden eggs, and spring branches.
Think outside the box.
Here’s a few budget friendly ideas I used on this year’s spring table.
- I found a beautiful wide ribbon-which I used instead of napkin rings (less expensive then napkin rings and adds an interesting element).
- Use one spring branch and then use wire cutters to take it apart, and tucked a piece of branch into the ribbon that was wrapped around each napkin. Less expensive then buying individual floral picks. and you have a larger variety to choose from.
- If you do invest in decorative item, I like to make sure it will make a statement and can be used all season long.
ALL THE DETAILS
I like the Easter elements of the table but I’ll be easily able to take those away after Easter and have a beautiful spring table.
