SPRING FRONT PORCH
Sharing our recently spruced up front porch today. It all started with the new planters I found. The week after they arrived was my birthday, so I treated myself to some birthday flowers, in the form of these gorgeous delphiniums. I’ve always wanted to try growing these, I’ll keep ya posted on how it goes. They are suppose to bloom through the summer so I thought it was worth the investment.
I cleaned up our front door mat that I purchased last spring. I sprinkled it with OxyClean, wet it with the garden house, let it sit about 5 min, and then rinsed it off. It looked good as new, and to think I almost tossed it! I found the mat at Target, it’s currently sold out in the smaller size but this one is available.
Our front porch bench is also from Target, and I love it. I purchased it last year but hadn’t bought a cushion for it. I feel in love with this buffalo checked one-also from Target. However once it arrived and I tried it on the bench it’s slightly over-sized for the bench…I should return it but it’s just what the bench needed to finish it off that I may just make it work…
The pillows on the bench I made out of napkins from Pottery Barn. You can find my no-sew DIY pillow napkin post here.
