This post will be realitively short and sweet. I’m 80 % done with my new kitchen table. It’s stripped and the top is finished but I still need to paint the table base white. If you want to see which table I’m refinishing I have a picture on last weeks post here.
This week I had a shopping day where I was looking for some special things to add to the shelves in our media cabinet, for the mantle, and a few other accents.
Here’s where I went shopping
This was a store I’ve been wanting to go to for a while now and it did not disappoint. It’s called Gardenology and they have stores in Newport Beach and Encinitas.
I stopped into one of my favorite places for unique home decor and one of my all time favorite accessories-plants. Rogers Gardens is also in Newport Beach and you will always find something special there.
Last stop was the newly re-opened Anthropology at Fashion Island. It’s the biggest Anthropology I’ve seen, they have a large home side to the store and there displays always inspire me to think outside the box when decorating.
Next week I hope to share lots of progress-a done table, a painted door, and some pillows sewn.
Thank you for joining me in this journey. Don’t forget to stop by Linda’s blog Calling it Home to see all the other transformations.
