Every holiday season I try and soak in as much of the goodness the season has to offer. It’s time for parties, shopping, family time, traveling, and countless other last minute holiday events that will inevitably pop up. All of that always leads to not enough time in these fun filled days. With that in mind I wanted to put some ideas together for you that will make creating a festive home a bit easier. At this time of everything is in stock and almost everything is on sale-yay!!! You still have time to order and get it in plenty of time before the holiday entertaining gets into full swing.
There are a few key areas that will really set the holiday tone for your home. To save you time I focused on those areas.
It starts at the front door. And a beautiful wreath will go a long way.
Next you will no doubt be gathering around the table, so let’s make that simple but beautiful. Here’s what I found. This gorgeous metallic runner.
And then on top of the runner add some pretty candle light, with a mix of these beauties. I would do two different sized lanterns and mix in the votives.
Or this gorgeous red runner and three of these gold planters, down the center of the table, filled with white paper whites. STUNNING!
It goes without saying your tree needs to sparkle. Every year I use the majority of the previous years ornaments but will add in a few special new ones to make it feel fresh. Here’s some gorgeous ones that would be pretty on your tree.
Another spot to gather is around the fire so let’s make that mantle beautiful. For a simple yet beautiful mantle you could center this mirror.
Then flank the mirror with two trees on each side. I have several of the second tree and love them.
Now find a branch to set in the middle of your mantle, wrap it with lights, hang your stockings, and drape these two beautiful garlands from it. AHHHHMAZING!
Then a few holiday finds here or there in the house will finish it off.
Some really simple but timeless touches you can add this year. Everything can be shipped right to you and it will hopefully save you some running around time, so you can enjoy and create more special moments this holiday season.
