Hi everyone-welcome to my blue and rust fall family room tour. I’m joining a group of talented ladies who are all sharing their fall decor. These tours are filled with inspiration and I’ll link to each of them at the end of the post.
We’re ready for Fall over here. The weather hasn’t gotten the message yet, but this week I lit the pumpkin spice candle (and the fireplace just for the photos) and decorated our family room for fall.
This year I went with a blue and rust theme. I found the softest chenille blankets in the perfect pale rust shade, and then added in the cream pillows for some added texture. The over-sized blue pillows were HomeGoods scores that I found this summer.
Choose 2-3 things to switch up, and add it to what you already have been using in the room for a whole new look. .
I choose to buy two new elements and the whole space felt freshened up for fall. You don’t need to fill the room with all new decor each season.
One of my favorite things about fall is turning on the fireplace and curling up to watch a football game or a movie. I added some candles and twinkle lights to the mantle for a little extra glow.
This space is truly the heart of the home and where we spend the majority of our time. Now that this room is fall ready, I’ll be working on the rest of the house and share that with you next week!
