This week I spruced up our front porch for fall, I wanted to keep it simple this year. I added in some vibrant colored plants and a few natural pumpkins for a fresh fall look.
This year I’m sticking to white and green pumpkins, I got rid of all my plastic pumpkins at the end of last year because I love the irregular shapes and unique textures of the real deals.
I found these gray and brass baskets at Michaels, and thought they’d be perfect on the porch. I just plopped in some mums, and to keep from seeing the containers through the basket, I stapled some dark grey burlap all the way the inside of the baskets.
I found the huge mum at my local grocery store of all places. It was half the price of what the nursery was selling this size for and the color was perfect!
I have left up this boxwood wreath year round, I love how it blends with every season and brightens up our dark front door.
I layered a large welcome mat over an outdoor rug to add in extra texture and interest. There are so many cute welcome mats out right now, I linked a few of my favorites below!
This is the first spot to get some fall touches, but I will be busy all week bringing fall inside and can’t to share my fall home tour next week!
XO-
Laura
