Time for another installment of “Trends I Love.” If you missed the last one you can find it HERE. Bold color is popping up more and more in the design world. Over the past few years white walls have been quite the trend. A white space looks fresh and clean and I love the look. However, this year has been all about accenting your fresh and clean space with a beautiful, saturated bold color.
The most commonly used bold paints are from one of three families-blue, green, and gray. If you are using a bold color on the walls, then go light and bright with everything else. Make sure there’s a lot of crisp white in the room to balance all that beautiful, saturated color.
I love the inspiration picture below, the deep gray on the built in cabinetry really makes that piece a focal point in the room. The bold colors really draw you in, and can make something ordinary look extraordinary!
